At StormHaven, we are always happy to hear from our clients and get an update on one of our kittens. We would like to share a few of those emails with you.
When I first contacted Sharona at StormHaven Cattery I was actually calling her to find out what she knew about another Siamese breeder I was interested in. Sharona was kind in her words and shared what she knew and in the process described her own cattery and the kittens she raised. The more we talked the more I knew that what I really wanted was a StormHaven Siamese. Two weeks later we brought home the most beautiful and most treasured Seal Point female kitten. Sharona and StormHaven Cattery really do produce, as stated right on the welcome page of her website, kittens with a loving temperament, high intelligence, good health and very well socialized. We could not be happier and, as seems to be the case with so many other of her clients. Will no doubt bring another StormHaven Siamese into the family in the future.
I was so lonely after I lost my Siamese cat, Beautiful Banshee Boy who I had for 17 1/2 years. He was a Seal Point and life without him was miserable.
So I decided to just look at them on the computer and typed in Siamese Cats and the name StormHaven came up. I liked the name and thought how peaceful and beautiful it sounded.
I was looking on the website and saw how beautiful and strong the kittens looked, so I contacted StormHaven and within a day I heard back from Sharona.
Dear Sharona: It's been a year, and I felt compelled to contact you again to let you know how pleased we are with our Blue Point Siamese, King George (formally little Emerson). He has grown into a big, beautiful, healthy boy with crisp, blue azure eyes. He is alert and agile and doesn't miss anything happening around him. He is, indeed, my companion and shadow. He eats with me, sleeps with me, lounges with me, and has the unique personality that is the "Quintessential Siamese". I want to especially thank you for your careful and diligent efforts with StormHaven to preserve and proliferate this wonderful, delightful creature known as the Siamese. With all the uncertainty in the world today, I know when I walk through my door after a long day at work, my George is there to greet me with sparkling blue eyes and a purr that always brings a smile to my face. This gorgeous seal point Siamese kitten came into our lives in March of 2007. She was born in this beautiful sea port village on the Pacific Ocean at StormHaven Cattery. She has brought joy and laughter to our loving home of 2 sons (ages 7 and 9) and two feline fans, now known as Miyu’s parents. Miyu is unusually gentle when playing with our sons but has an amazing curious streak. She loves to sit on anyone’s lap and purr loudly to the enjoyment of all around her.
I recently purchased a kitten from StormHaven and have been extremely happy with my kitten and the overall experience. I found StormHaven to be a very clean, well kept environment. Sharona was always open, honest and allowed me to come see my kitten whenever I liked. She was also very informative and always emailed me pictures of my kitten and her litter. I’ve seen first hand that Sharona raises beautiful, healthy kittens with lots of loving care. My kitty Sake is beautiful, playful and very intelligent. I’m very happy that I made the decision to purchase from Sharona at StormHaven.
I am overwhelmed with joy by the addition of my little Blue Point, Kaya (formerly Aidann), to my home. It has now been five months since she came to live with me, my roommate, my two-year-old Siamese, and one-year-old Chihuahua mix – and we could not be happier! Since the first moment I saw her I knew she would be the perfect! Kaya has a sweet, gentle, and mellow temperament which has been evident since my first visit to StormHaven Cattery. While most of Kaya’s traits can be attributed to the uniqueness of the Siamese breed, I believe a large part of her endearing personality is a direct result of the intense care and love she received from Sharona during the first three months. I am constantly amazed at Kaya’s confidence and comfort in new situations! She travels beautifully in the car and I am able to take her everywhere with me. I have brought her into my class on several occasions where she bravely withstands the relentless hugs and kisses of small children – something my other Siamese would never be comfortable experiencing! Another striking characteristic of Kaya is how happy she is, she is always purring! All it takes is a kind word or a soft touch and she will start purring, she loves people and she loves attention, but is not an “in-your-face” cat that doesn’t know when to stop. She is perfect. I could not have hoped for a more precious and beautiful cat. Thank you for always making yourself available to questions and for maintaining your commitment to Kaya's well-being.
